suggest

Глагол suggest - /səɡˈʤɛst / как и глаголы deny, regret, admit  не может иметь после себя инфинитив ( suggest to do), герундий ( suggest doing) или придаточное предложение с союзом that , который может произноситься, а может опускаться.
